At Specialties of Paradise, we want your purchasing experience to be easy, enjoyable and fun! Reading this page will help.

PERSONAL SERVICE:  That's hard to come by on an impersonal internet. We overcome the cold web with our personal service. We process, pack and ship every order from our Key West facility for quickest, most accurate service. In addition, we welcome your phone calls or emails for order placement, information, status checks or general questions. Use the contact info on our About Us page. Lastly... Chat with us on our Live Chat feature, simply click the Chat Box on the 'About Us' page (it's even encrypted).


SHIPPING SCHEDULE:  All orders from all of our stores, including eBay and Amazon, are in our warehouse in Key West and typically ship on the same day when they are placed by 3pm Eastern time. Orders placed after 3pm are shipped on the next business day. 

PAYMENT: For the most convenient and fast ways to pay, use Credit/Debit cards or PayPal. It will take longer for your order to be processed, but we do accept checks or money orders by mail. International orders must use PayPal. Your CC payments will show 'Specialties Of Paradise' on your bank or card statement.

SHIPPING METHODS: We primarily ship two main ways in the US and Internationally... Standard Ground and Expedited. Standard Ground includes First Class Mail, Parcel Post and FedEx SmartPost. Expedited includes Priority Mail, FedEx Ground and the occasional FedEx Express. For orders to US Addresses, please allow up to 3 weeks for the Ground shipments to arrive and up to 5 days for Expedited shipments. For International deliveries, please allow up 5 weeks for standard ground and up to 2 weeks for Expedited shipments. Even though we ship right away, we cannot guarantee the speed and accuracy of the different shippers. We love to use methods that have tracking numbers and insurance, but you decide if you want that. Choosing the Expedited option costs more, but is easily the most dependable. Have a special need? Contact us! we'll do our best to please you.

   The important thing to remember is that we cannot control the speed, accuracy or competency of the shippers once we hand off your package. We assume NO liability for lost, delayed or mis-delivered shipments. 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS: Unhappy with your order? Contact us! We do offer refunds and accept returns under certain circumstances, but not as a rule. We weigh every request on a case-by-case basis. We'll always be honest with you and expect you to be honest with us.

COMMUNICATION: We are FIRM believers in staying in touch with you throughout the sale process. This usually involves a simple acknowledgement  of your order and an email to let you know that your order shipped and by what method. However, if we have a question or concern about your order, we'll contact you! We will email or call to obtain clarification or provide an update, so keep those lines open for us... just in case. If we have a backorder status that will tie up your order for more than 3-4 days, we'll let you know.
